Enjoy a fun, educational colouring session … and help some under privileged Colombian children

A session of colouring from a class in your school on World Kids Colouring Day offers a fun and valuable learning experience as well as helping under privileged Colombian children receive a life changing education. Each child can colour in a sheet or children can share pages depending on the size of the class. When each page is coloured it not only creates a beautiful picture in its own right, but when put together it will create a huge educational and colourful mural.
Download the colouring books, sponsorship forms and a letter for the children to take home to their parents.

There are seven teaching resources to help prepare a lesson about Colombia.

Win an art lesson with Axel Scheffler or £250 STAEDTLER stationery

After the children have completed their individual colouring page, stick all their efforts together to create the BIG PICTURE. Take a picture of your children’s mural and send it back to STAEDTLER. The work will be judged and prizes awarded to the most colourful murals.

1st Prize - 1 school wins an art lesson with Axel Scheffler, illustrator of the Gruffalo plus a selection of STAEDTLER stationery

2nd Prize - 2 schools win an art lesson with Picasso Griffiths, children’s illustrator plus a selection of STAEDTLER stationery

3rd Prize - 5 schools win £250 of STAEDTLER stationery and art equipment

World Kids Colouring Day is the 6th May but it doesn’t matter whether the children colour-in on the actual day - taking part is far more important.
